The regulatory framework for Scottish Charities has become more onerous in recent years, but we are here to help.
The regulatory framework for Scottish Charities has become more onerous in recent years. We can advise on choice of legal structure, Trustee responsibilities, gift aid claims, reporting regulations and governance issues.
We can provide an accounting service to produce year end accounts in statutory charity format and complete OSCR annual returns. We also conduct independent examinations or full audits as required.
If a charity would benefit from us taking on a more active involvement, bookkeeping, payroll and other admin services can be outsourced to us with regular management meetings and reports provided as required.
If you would like more information or would like to speak to us direct then call us on 0141 956 4454. Or if you would prefer, ask us a question online.
“We were lucky enough to hear about Bell Barr & Company via a Director of Smith & Williamson, the London-based wealth management and financial services company. Unlike a large city centre firm of accountants who we were able to tolerate only briefly, Bell Barr offer an efficient, competent, helpful and willing service which compares to none other in our experience. They are also up-to-date and knowledgeable regarding OSCR’s evolving regulations and requirements.”
